This was the easiest quiz for a while, 4/5 is my best result in ages! YES! I missed the Erik the Viking- shot, which probably is this week's hardest shot. And for first time, I watched a movie the same week it featured a shot in these quizzes! So, thanks to the Finnish channel, which aired Butterfly Effect last week!

Erik The Viking was easy :-) I have never seen the movie, but I only know of this one Viking Comedy, and the picture clearly shows a viking coemdy :-)

I thought this quiz was rather tough, I had a lot of help, even the shot of The Butterfly Effect, which I saw, was a tricky one. And Ameros perros, I was clueless until last night, someone came through.. I wonder how many Americans will be mad about The Descent, considering it just came out in USA theatres, I rem. the shot from the trailer at one of the last movies I went to. I had to double check to be sure it was that too. Anyway, this one was insane.. nice job

I found this quiz very tough as well. Brokeback Mountain was the only one I got. That was easy as I had seen the film recently and also verified the shot with a friend who has seen it 38 times (in the theater!). I could tell that #3 was a recent horror film, but would never have guessed The Descent as it just came out in theaters here in the US. I didn't get that #4 was clearly a Viking comedy. To me it could have been anywhere in Europe from about 200-1600 AD. And finally, I was so sure that was Rade Serbedzija in Snatch that I didn't even bother to check photos. Sigh. I am grateful to The Baptizer that we had clear shots of people's faces this last week. I'll try to do better on the next one.

not to talk trash but it is kinda lame to have a movie that came out 4 days after the quiz was posted. how could we possibly know that unless we saw it friday or saturday. not a fair screen shot at all. but i still love this quiz, just hey from now on, try to make sure the movie is actually out when you put it as one of the screenshots. I think everyone deserves 4 points for that. sorry I just had to vent, Im ok now

Did you know The Descent has been out in Europe over a year?, I am an American, and I kinna thought was bold move to put a shot like that on this quiz, but I dont think the quizmaster even thought it just released in the USA and Canada, last wk.

No I didn't know about the late US premiere, all I knew was that it had been out on DVD over here for a while. 10 months actually. If I had known I would have held on to the shot a while longer. But kinda funny that I manage to put it on the same week as the US premiere thou :)

As I said The only reason I was able to ID #3, was I remd. the trailer, and as I said I had to double check, I want to see the movie though, I prob will when it comes on in the US on DVD

@10 Why not just import the european DVD, that's what we europeans do all the time with region 1 releases we don't wanna wait for. You can get it for only £5.99 today.

Was lucky enough to see Descent last weekend and get the shot ("lucky" might be stretching it. The US version kind of sucks with a completely different ending) Kept thinking I had seen the homeless Amores Perros guy in a zombie movie or something until it finally clicked.

I'm actually a little bit grateful for situations like the varied release of The Descent. It helps remind me that my country is not the center of the universe and that I can't expect a quiz that is based in Denmark to conform to my self-centered American parameters. I'm just happy that the quiz is in English because I can't read Dutch. (PS- Yes, that IS a joke.)

I didnt realize that Baptizer lived in britian, I thought he was a usa boy (or girl). I also didnt realize that was a british import movie. I still think it sucks that it came out for my viewing 4 days after the quiz was posted, but I am less mad to hear that it was on dvd for almost a year for the baptizer, I dont think the guy (or gal) was just out to have less perfect scores. I guess just try to help us poor, unfortunate usa people out when possible. but on the other hand it does add a certain degree of difficulty. and how come "Cool as Ice" hasn't been on the quiz ever. worst movie ever.

My god, I guessed my way through this one. Got The Descent right because I remembered one of those girls. Verified it on Imdb. Brokeback Mountain I got via a friend who in turn actually guessed also. #1 I have never seen nor heard of and the viking comedy, I didn't get that one. Was thinking more along the lines of Mel Brooks... But I'm frustrated I didn't get The Butterfly Effect right. Saw the film, thought it was good and then when it's in here I don't have a clue (now I do though, hence my frustration...).
