A handful had 4 answers correct this week, but no one could identify all 5 screenshots. That was probably because of the Interstate 60 screenshot, which only where identified by a merely 5 users.
I don’t think that was because the screenshot was especially hard, but more because only a few have actually seen the movie and that’s a shame if that’s the case.
Interstate 60 is a real great modern adventure movie, which you ought to check out the next time you are at your video store. Besides it is Written and directed by Bob Gale, who also wrote and produced the three Back To The Future movies.

I don’t know if it was Everett McGill or just the look of the Silver Bullet screenshot that made people think, David Lynch, but a lot guessed on movies like Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, Lost Highway and The Straight Story were submitted.
As you may have noticed the scores on the Hall-o-Fame and single user stats aren't all calculated correctly.
Don't worry all your scores are safe it's just the way they are being displayed that may erroneous.
I have edited the Hall-o-Fame manually so the scores should be correct. But I will be rewriting the entire score calculation routine, so problems like that won’t occur again.

If this site isn’t enough to fulfil your thirst for movie screenshot quizzing, you might want to supplement with these two sites FilmChaw and ArnIIe.
The 6th quiz is over and a pretty neat percentage of right answers where submitted this week, even for the little more tricky The Shining screenshot. But must surprising was the fact that not a single user misspelled the title Equilibrium, I can hardly even pronounce it ;)

As you may have noticed, I have added some new statistics. Click here to view all scores for all users for the past month, year and all time.
To make it a little more fun to be in the top rankings, the top 10 users for the past month and year are shown on the front page.

Also the site has had some minor bugs passing into the new year (Showing mysql errors instead of the right quizzes and not displaying the stat-disc right), but they are to be fixed within the next couple of days.

Happy New Year to all
Last weeks quiz proved to be pretty hard, in fact it proved to be the hardest quiz so far. Only 3 of the 5 screenshot where identified and only 4 people could recognize the “Welcome To Collinwood” screenshot.

A lot of more or less close guesses where submitted for “Dracula II: Ascension“, but none hit the correct movie. Almost nobody dared to give a shot at “House II: The Second Story”

I neither think nor hope that the next 5 “christmas’ish” screenshot, will just that hard.

Merry Christmas to you all.
The second quiz is over and it proved to be somewhat harder than the first, maybe that’s why only 27 users dared submitting answers.

The western looking screenshot from the 1974 Charles Bronson movie, Death Wish, proved to be a real cheater.
Answers where submitted on all sorts of western movies, but in fact it’s not a western movie at all.

In the movie Charles Bronson’s character visits a landowner I Arizona, where they are have crated a real live looking western town and several times a day they perform a live western show for the tourist.

The trick was to notice the large group tourist in back, not wearing western clothes. But I guess that was a little too hard to see, at least no one spotted it.
